JEE Advanced 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To appear for JEE Advanced 2026, candidates must be among the top 2.5 lakh qualifiers of JEE Main 2026. They should have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) for the first time in 2025 or 2026 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
The age limit is born on or after October 1, 2001, with a 5-year relaxation for SC/ST/PwD candidates. A maximum of two attempts in consecutive years is allowed, and candidates should not have joined an IIT before. For JoSAA counselling, 75% marks in Class 12 (65% for SC/ST) or top 20 percentile in boards is generally required.
